KUCCPS Ranks Top TVET Diploma Courses
In response to the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results, where over 580,000 students attained a C- grade or lower, a notable uptick in interest towards artisan courses and the in-demand KUCCPS TVET Certificate is observed.
Traditionally, a list of courses falling under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program is published by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). This allows students to make informed choices based on their cluster points.
Cluster points, representing the maximum points achievable by a student across four subjects, are crucial for admission into specific programs. This benchmark contrasts with the performance of the top candidates in the respective KCSE examination year.
As per KUCCPS guidelines, the Certificate and artisan courses are available across 11 accredited TVET colleges. These institutions are rigorously vetted and endorsed to ensure the delivery of quality education and training.
