With 32 goals and 10 assists in the league thus far, the England international has contributed to 32 Premier League goals in just 33 games this season.
With just one game remaining in the Premier League this season, the 22-year-old midfielder’s form has him sitting second in the rankings for both goals and assists.
Since the award’s inception following the 2019–20 season, when Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool won it, Palmer is the only Chelsea player to have done so.

A four-goal haul against Everton and a thrilling hat-trick in our victory over Manchester United were among the highlights of the forward’s season-long total of 16 goals scored at home in the Premier League, which he shared with Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard of Chelsea.
Palmer overcame tough opposition to win the championship, as the shortlist also included Destiny Udogie of Tottenham, Phil Foden and Erling Haaland of Manchester City, Kobbie Mainoo of Manchester United, and Bukayo Saka and William Saliba of Arsenal.
