Emma Hayes nominated for WSL Manager of the Season
Emma Hayes is a nominee for the Barclays WSL Manager of the Season award, even though her tenure as Chelsea’s manager is about to a close.
As she has received this award six times overall and in each of the previous four years, Hayes has the opportunity to cap up her term in a similar manner.
With two games left in the season, Hayes has led Chelsea to be in the running for a seventh straight WSL title after a rigorous campaign that includes a Continental Cup final and both domestic and European semi-finals.
With one game remaining, the Blues are three points behind Manchester City, who are presently leading the table.

However, after a convincing 8-0 victory over Bristol City on Sunday in Hayes’ final home game, we now have a slightly better goal differential.
Hayes announced her impending departure in November, and this season will be her final as manager.
This week, she joined the Shed End luminaries at Stamford Bridge, marking her incredible 12-year tenure as Chelsea’s manager.
