Govt Pathologist Oduor Reveals Bullet-Induced Bleeding as Cause of Magistrate Kivuti’s Death
Chief Magistrate Monica Kivuti died on Wednesday, June 19, after profuse bleeding brought on by five gunshot wounds, according to government pathologist Johansen Oduor.
The magistrate’s death was also caused by major complications from the bullets, according to the postmortem performed on her body at the Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi.
The postmortem results show that the perpetrator’s gun, which was thought to be a pistol, was the source of the gunshots.
Oduor went on to say that the magistrate’s pelvic bone was the most damaged part of his body.
In a similar vein, the body of Magistrate Kivuti, the officer suspected of shooting and killing, was autopsied by government pathologist Grace Midigo after it had been kept at the Chiromo Mortuary.
Midigo claims that the police officer died from a single gunshot wound to the head. The gunshot was fired from a distance and came from a low-calibre firearm, according to the autopsy results.

Detectives said that prior to the shooting, the killer police officer left the Londiani police station with five rounds of ammo and a Jericho pistol.
The family of the deceased will be able to access their loved ones’ bodies for burial after the autopsy is finished.
