In his address during the contract signing ceremony at State House, Nairobi, President Ruto expressed gratitude to the government and development partners for their unwavering commitment to this initiative. The government has pledged Sh2.5 billion towards this phase of connectivity, with the French Development Agency (FDA), the European Union, and the European Investment Bank (EIB) contributing the remaining funds.

These initiatives aim to connect over 270,000 additional customers, further advancing the nation’s electrification agenda.
