Paul Mwangi Found Alive, Dumped in Roysambu With Head Injury After Morning Abduction
Paul Mwangi, also known as Jiji, was freed on Monday, according to Faith Odhiambo, President of the Law Society of Kenya. Mwangi was reportedly kidnapped early in the morning.
Mwangi was discovered abandoned in Nairobi County near Roysambu. He had multiple wounds, most notably one to his skull that was allegedly caused by his assailants, who are still at large.
“Paul Mwangi has been released, he had head injuries and had been treated,” said Odhiambo.
After being escorted home, he was treated at the hospital after being rushed there. Mwangi’s cut was not as deep as anticipated, and the incision could be sealed with a few bandages, according to the experts.
Mwangi was shown with his skull partially shaped and a bandage on it in a video that the LSK President released. In addition, he seemed upset and scared, probably from his experience.
Mwangi was also unable to speak.

It is said that at approximately five in the morning, Mwangi was snatched from his Githurai home and transferred to an unidentified place before being freed.
Mwangi is one among several dozen Kenyans who were kidnapped recently, purportedly because of their opposition to the financial bill.
Some Kenyans have been apprehended in various circumstances by unidentified persons throughout the last two weeks.
According to reports, several well-known influencers were kidnapped in the previous two weeks because of their opinions on the Finance Bill.
LSK President Faith Odhiambo and human rights activists have condemned the forceful arrests and the use of police officers to intimidate peaceful Kenyans from airing their views.
While responding to the concerns, President William Ruto on Sunday during a presidential roundtable with journalists explained that he would not use the words abductions to describe the situation.
He however termed them as arrests.
“If the police summon Linus Kaikai and Linus Kaikai refuses to go to the police, are the police not entitled to come and look for you? When the police come to arrest you after they have summoned you and you didn’t show up, is that an abduction?” he posed.
