Gachagua asserted during a musical event in Nanyuki town that there were persons infiltrating the Mt. Kenya region who wanted to cause strife among its people.
Gachagua asked citizens to visit their different constituencies and find out their MPs’ position on the unification of the Mt. Kenya area, according to a Citizen TV broadcast.
Inquiring into their MPs’ stance on the one-man, one-vote, one-shilling campaigns was another advice he gave them. He went on to call the leaders of Mount Kenya who disapproved of the formula enemies of the area.
“When you see me walk around Mt.Kenya and you don’t see them with me, ask them why they are not walking with their leader. If they are not with their leader who are they with?”Gachagua questioned.
What did Gachagua say about Kenya Kwanza?
Along with revealing that there were problems within Kenya Kwanza, the deputy president said he would be forced to speak out if the rift within the government continued.
“When you see me quiet, it means that all is not going well.”
He went on to exhort the people of Mount Kenya to be united so that they could further their objective.
Ruto disapproves of tribal governance
This occurs just a few days after William Ruto criticized the nation’s ethnic politics tendency, claiming that they will obstruct the country’s efforts to advance.
Speaking at Madaraka Day celebrations on Saturday, June 1, Ruto said that regional politics and leaders identifying with their ethnic extractions were a thing of the past.
Ruto declared he would put more of his attention toward building the nation and addressing the problems facing its citizens rather than meaningless politics.
